Search for the Shakeaway Girl

Hello you.

Thank you for checking out my little blog over in this corner of the Internet, I appreciate it.

Anyway. I was wondering if you'd be able to help me out at all. See, there's a new advertising campaign at Shakeaway (the one in Plymouth at least; if someone could let me know if it's the same poster across the country, that'd be ace!)for their range of hot drinks.

About a day after the campaign broke, I started to receive text messages asking why I was advertising milkshakes all of a sudden, and could I get them any for free.

Needless to say, I was more than a little bemused. So, I took a trip down to the shop on Monday afternoon and was more than a little surprised at the sight that greeted me. Namely this:

Okay, so it may not look like much, but I seriously think it might be me. But here's the thing. I've never worn that particular hat. Or glasses with those types of frames for a number of years. Here is me with a similar type of hat on, and very, very different glasses. I'm the one on the left. Obviously:

You'd be hard pushed to say that there isn't a very strong similarity. So. What do I want to achieve from this?

  • Find out if this particular poster is being used across the country
  • Find out who this girl is! If it's me...I think they'll owe me money or something. But that money would go to charity. Because I'm nice like that. =]

And er...that's about it.

If you'd like to help, send this blog across the Internet, every platform is a good one.

You can follow my search here on my blog and on my twitter page HERE

Let the search begin!

Are you feeling Charitable?

Well, we're two days away from Red Nose Day 2009.
(When I woke up this morning, I actually thought it was Tuesday. I was wrong.)
And this year, I'm actually doing something funny for your money.

I'll be wearing a pair of pyjamas to work on Friday.
Huzzah?
I need to go and buy another pair. The ones I bought off've Primark yesterday are rather see through....

My aim is to raise £20. So far, you lovely generous people have donated £7.50. You can sponsor me through this website:

I know that times are tough, but please donate as much as you can afford. I know everyone says it, but every single penny really does make a difference.

Thank you.

Loves.

La La La La...

So, it's Tuesday Morning.
And I'm stuck in College, waiting for a Photography lesson to begin.

I'm incredibly bored.
So I'm playing a lot of games like Breeder and Ginger Dawn to keep myself occupied.

I've got College until 12:15, then the Radio Show with Katie from 12:30-1:30.

And then it's off into town to pick up my photos and buy some pyjamas.

Fun, fun, fun.

Layers.
